A ruthless willow, thirsty, bends over the frozen waves of the lake.
All summer she drank its cool fresh water. Roots of her trunk she stuck them well in the grassy bank.
But the greedy willow craved at the very mirror that reflected her green, long branches. She grew and grew until she reached the water.
Then she faced her nature and she grew some more roots to the top of her weeping branches. She tasted the fine clear surface water, and her greed could not be stopped.
The more she had drunk, the more thirsty she was. Now, the roots of her branches are as long as those of the trunk.
She is caught...
