The April issue of the Foto Video magazine featured again one of my photo articles, entitled "Sfaturi pentru o calatorie nostalgica - Intoarcerea acasa" or "Advices for a nostalgic journey: Returning Home".
The article is spreading from the pages 64 to 69 and it contains lots of information and 13 photos. Here, I write about my place of birth and where I spent my childhood, about the memories that keep coming back to me in a nostalgic way, as an "Invitation to find origins, place of birth and childhood memories. Nothing is stronger than moments, places and people that marked the beginning of our existence. And then, when life takes us away, there are frequent the moments when we dream about those and we wish to be able to bring them back."

Water is the source of life; but, at the same time, it is an inexhaustible source of inspiration for the abstract photography and for the photographic graphism. Learn to observe and to paint or to make graphics with your camera. For me, photographing reflections and refractions on the water surface represents some form of meditation and observation, in front of the beauty and wonders that surrounds us. It`s incredible for me to watch and take photos at the shapes that are reflected by water, deformed and transformed in weird and wonderful ways. Often, I forgot about myself, admiring the milions of colors and tones that live there only for a fraction of a second, on the water ...
Abstract photography is one of my favorite photo genres. Perhaps because it allows me to be an image creator at a higher level than other genre. In abstract photography we can play as we want and we are free to present our own photo vision of a moment reality. I like to scan smaller worlds, hidden worlds, with my camera, and I think it is a challenge for me to keep looking for beauty where we least expect to find it.
I love all seasons. Each has its charm and each offers something special to a photographer. I love winter because it`s pure, simple and full of surprises. Even the light is special, surreal ... I chose as winter subject for this month article an imagination and photographic play exercise: shadows and strange shapes, creative light and inspired photographer.
Every city in this country, larger or smaller, offers many options if we want to take autumn photos, but we don`t have the possibility to travel. I live in Bucharest from October 2007 and I can onestly say that I love Bucharest more in autumn. I don`t know exactly why, but from October to late November there is a romantic atmosphere over this city, mingled with urbanism and agitation.
Starting with November 9, 2011, you will find available for sale the Foto Video Magazine, the November issue.
In this month issue I`m a contributor, with a small article entitled "Colors and compositions of a late autumn". The magazine is in Romanian.
Foto Video is a practical photography-based magazine, with good articles and many useful information, especially for the amateur photographer.
